Maternity Photography session
A Maternity, often desired, but not always that easy and naturally as people would love to think, is a very special moment in the lives in the father and mother to be, that needs to be treasured and appreciated. New life is forming itself in your belly and will change your life – for sure the first years – drastically.
PiktureFrame Photography captures that special moment on film with much love and joy. During the Maternity Photography shoot of about an hour, the woman and her pregnant belly will get the most attention, but also the father to be and older children will play an important role in the different images.

Different types of Maternity sessions are possible at PiktureFrame Photography:
1. ‘Pretty You’ Maternity Session
The Pretty You maternity session is the newest concept of the four different Maternity Sessions possible at PiktureFrame Photography. The best description for this type of Maternity Photo Session is a combination of a Boudoir and a Maternity/Belly Photo Session. The lady will be asked to wear some sweet but feminine lingerie, dresses or nightgowns. A professional MUA will do some basic make-up at first and if we all feel comfortable we will do extreme make-up.
The beauty of a pregnant lady, the miracle called a pregnancy and being able to feel like a wonderful woman before you will become a mam will be the center feeling of a Pretty You photoshoot.
The Pretty You shoot will take 3-4 hours of your time.
2. ‘The art of nude’ Maternity Session
‘The art of nude’ is also a quite new session type PiktureFrame Photography has integrated into the bookable Maternity Sessions. The pregnant female body I think is something wonderful; alsmost magical. It is carrying and developing a tiny little human being for almost nine months before he or she is big enough to enjoy the outside world. Because of that I think it is important to photograph and document this wonderful time in a special, but appropriate way. These images are a lifetime memory to a very special moment in your life.
The body will be photographed nude, but in such a respectful way the silhouet of the female body and the Maternity will be showen gracefully.
This type of shoot will take about 2 hours.
3. ‘Old meets new’ Vintage styled Maternity Session
A quite new, but very popular style is the ‘Old meets New’ vintage styled Maternity Sessions. Not only the finishing touch of the images is vintage orientated, but also the dresses, the location and the accessories are chosen with care and will increase the vintage feeling in the images. I have some (vintage styled) dresses in different sizes in stock and can be used if requested.
A vintage styled Maternity Session can be done in the studio, but some outside locations are also very suitable for this type of Maternity Photo Sessions.
4. Maternity Photography session at an outside location
When thinking about a Maternity session most people think about a session in a studio. Logical, because most sessions are produced there. Because I love to think outside the box during photo session and acting differently than other Photographers do, I shoot Maternity session at an outside location as well. The beach in the summer, during a sunset, the forest with only a belly peekaboo behind a tree or the city center; nothing is to crazy to act as an décor for a Maternity session!
Maternity Photography session in the studio
Cosy and romantic images with the focus on the pregnant belly can easily be made in the safe environment of my studio. If you prefer naked or partly naked images the studio is the right place for that; with a nice temperature and closed curtains. A black or a white background and studio lighting equipment are ready for usage. A nice cup of tea or coffee or some soda for the little brothers and sisters who join the session as well will be there as well
Besides Maternity Photography session, PiktureFrame Photography is also specialized in family Photography, Baby Photography and Loveshoot. Please have a look at my portfolio.
